Job Description

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Must have a thorough knowledge of the machining process, hobbing process, heat treatment process & press section.
  • Should have system knowledge – IATF 16949:2016, EMS 14001:2015, OHSAS 45001:2018, QMS 9001:2015.
  • Monitor and ensure all efficiency and quality parameters are met.
  • Ensure 5S and Discipline inside the shop floor are maintained.
  •  Coordinates daily department activities in order to meet production goals.
  •  Responsible for the upkeep of Machines and ensuring both preventive maintenance programs and repairs.
  •  Administer safety/5S programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees.
  •  Adept in handling Heat treatment problems during various stages of the Production Process.
  • Looks after manpower allocation and ensures discipline is Maintained
  •  This role is primarily responsible for the production of shifts, keeping in mind the allocation of manpower, Cost, and rejection control.
