Key Responsibilities:
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Design, implement, and maintain SQL databases, ensuring high levels of
performance, availability, and security.
• Perform regular database backups and ensure recovery solutions are in place.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design effective
database solutions.
• Develop stored procedures, triggers, and functions to enhance database
functionality.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues related to performance,
replication, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define and implement efficient
database solutions.
• Regularly perform database tuning and optimization tasks.
• Ensure data consistency and accuracy through appropriate validation techniques.
• Generate reports and data extracts from SQL queries as per business requirements.
• Maintain and update documentation related to database design, processes, and
standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries, joins, subqueries,
and stored procedures.
• Experience with database design and management (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL,
etc.).
• Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Good understanding of relational database concepts, normalization, and indexing.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
