Job Description

  • Responsible for concept and detailed design, development of various type of AIS & GIS.
  • Knowledge of about CEA guidelines, IEEE, IS/IEC, and IE rule for substation design.
  • Well versed with switchyard secondary engineering (CRP – SAS & SCADA System)
  • Knowledge of Tele Communication System as per CEA Guidelines 
  • Knowledge of about testing & Commissioning of Substation Primary and Secondary equipment
  • Familiar with latest Relays, Relay operations, testing, integration work.
  • Understanding / Preparation of Cable Schedule, connection wiring of respective Panels, Cable BOM. 
  • Knowledge of SLD & Layout of AIS / GIS. 
  • Should be able to prepare switchyard equipment specification, vendor evaluation, equipment drawing / documents review and approval. 
  • Knowledge of Auto-cad & Simulation software, Grid Study, ETAP if any 
  • Experience in developing and reviewing construction grade engineering packages 
  • Layout preparation & planning for cable routing, Earthing, lightning protection layout, DC/AC SLD, external/internal lighting layout, electrical equipment layout & planning, electrical cable trench layout.

Education : Diploma / BE Electrical Engineering

Experience : 6-10 Years for relevant 220 kV and above Substation projects. 

Job related Skills : 

  • Substation Engineering, Bill of material, Cable Sizing, short circuit calculation, ETAP, Auto Cad, 
  • Electrical Equipment Selection, Design coordination.
