Responsibilities
1. Routine Testing
○ Perform daily quality testing to ensure all processes align with the standards.
2. Customer Inspection
○ Conduct physical and functional inspections as per customer requirements.
3. Drawing Verification
○ Verify physical dimensions, busbar dimensions, and cross-sections to meet
design specifications.
4. BOQ Verification
○ Cross-check Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for quantities, specifications, and ratings
feeder-wise.
5. Physical Testing
○ Panel Dimensions: Validate panel dimensions as per design.
○ Feeder Dimension Check: Inspect feeders for dimensional accuracy.
○ Busbar Cross-Section Check: Ensure cross-sections meet requirements.
○ Support of Busbar: Verify adequate support for busbars.
○ Cabling Arrangement: Check proper cabling installation and arrangement.
○ Space Heating and Humidistat Settings: Ensure correct settings and
location.
○ Earthing Bus and Connections: Inspect earthing arrangements and
connections.
○ Panel Illumination: Verify proper lighting arrangements.
○ Sheet and Paint Thickness: Check for proper sheet thickness and uniform
paint application.
6. Functional Testing
○ Feeder Functionality: Perform functional checks feeder-wise.
○ Interlocking: Validate interlocking (physical and PLC-based).
○ Continuity Tests: Conduct input/output continuity testing.
○ Secondary Injection Testing: Test and verify secondary injection processes.
○ Meter and Relay Setting: Check meter and relay configurations.
○ Megger Test: Perform insulation resistance tests.
○ HV Test: Conduct high-voltage tests.
○ Primary Injection (if required): Execute primary injection for specific cases.
7. Millivolt Drop Test
○ Conduct millivolt drop testing for feeder ratings greater than 2000A in Air
Circuit Breakers (ACBs).
