We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Assistant General Manager (AGM) – MEP Projects to lead and manage MEP execution and delivery for high-end corporate commercial buildings and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of handling large-scale, fast-paced fit-out projects with strong leadership, technical, and client-facing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of MEP services (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, ELV) across multiple commercial and fit-out projects.
● Review, approve, and provide strategic input on MEP designs, technical specifications, shop drawings, and value engineering proposals.
● Ensure execution is in line with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and complies with relevant codes and regulations.
● Coordinate and manage internal engineering teams, external consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with project goals.
● Oversee the testing, commissioning, and handover of all MEP systems.
● Drive project planning, risk management, and resolution of technical or execution-related issues.
● Establish and monitor project KPIs, cost controls, and resource allocation for efficient delivery.
● Serve as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, and senior management for all MEP-related activities.
● Ensure site safety standards and statutory compliances are strictly followed.
● Contribute to business development, proposal preparation, and project estimation for new MEP fit-out opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience:
● B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (MBA is a plus).
● 15 - 20 years of hands-on experience in MEP execution, out of which at least 5 years should be in a leadership role handling corporate interiors and commercial buildings.
● Strong understanding of design coordination, system integration, and execution of all MEP services.
● Proven ability to handle multiple projects, manage large teams, and work under tight deadlines.
● Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
● Proficiency in project management tools, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite
