Job Description

  1. Roles & Responsibilities:

    1. Active participation and dealing with all concerned agencies during pre- commissioning, commissioning, HOTO and Post commissioning for stabilization of the plant and O&M Operations.
    2. Preventive Maintenance of the installed equipment as per schedule and attend any breakdown on an immediate basis.
    3. Ensure support and timely completion of activities during all kinds of Maintenance within reasonable minimum time to minimize the equipment/plant down time.
    4. Follow the instructions of Lead technician.
    5. Plant monitoring through SCADA (at site or remote).
    6. Follow the instructions of the control center and Grid Coordinator in coordination with the Lead Technician.
    7. Record keeping of all events, breakdowns, RCA and preventive maintenance.
    8. Daily logbook preparation.
    9. Visual inspection of the plant.
    10. Daily check all installed equipment’s status through SCADA system.
    11. Take the corrective actions to rectify any fault.
    12. Following instructions for safe and smooth operations at site
    13. Should support the team to ensure trouble free operations at site
    14. Providing all necessary technical & non-technical support.
    15. Responsible for Solar Plant O&M.
    16. Regular monitoring and performance analysis of Inverter & all other plant equipment to meet the design standards and target KPIs.
    17. If required dealing with all External and Internal agencies for smooth O&M.
    18. Should be ready to stay at site to manage operations to meet all the KPIs and to get satisfaction from all concerned depts and agencies
    19. Updating all the Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance and other records in company or owner provided CMMS digital platform.
    20. Performing Plant performance analysis and taking corrective action to optimize the plant performance and smooth operations of the plant and meeting set targets and KPIs.
    21. Adherence to HSE compliances, monitoring and ensuring safe and secure operations at site.
    22. Keeping record of all used spare parts and timely inform to respective authority.

    • Qualifications: 

    ITI/technician Certificate Or Equivalent in Electrical Engineering

    • Technical Experience & other Competencies: 
    1. 2 years of Experience Electrical field and 01 year of experience in Solar Plant (operation and maintenance).

        2. Should be computer literate

    • Other requisite skills:
