● Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies and statutory regulations.
● Conduct daily safety inspections at the project/site and identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
● Implement safety procedures, work permit systems, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
● Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs for workers and staff.
● Monitor the proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by all employees and contractors.
● Carry out hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA/JSA) before work execution.
● Inspect firefighting equipment and ensure fire prevention and emergency preparedness measures are in place.
● Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions.
● Maintain safety documentation, inspection records, incident reports, and compliance registers.
● Coordinate with project, engineering, and contractor teams to ensure safe work practices.
● Monitor high-risk activities such as work at height, hot work, confined space entry, lifting operations, and electrical work.
● Ensure compliance with ISO standards, client safety requirements, and government safety regulations.
● Participate in emergency mock drills and evacuation exercises.
Required Qualifications:
● Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Fire & Industrial Safety or equivalent.
● 3–4 years of experience as a Safety Executive/Safety Officer in construction, engineering, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
● Knowledge of fire safety, workplace safety, construction safety, and statutory compliance.
● Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
● Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
