The Service Head will be responsible for overseeing the entire service operations of the automobile division. The role includes ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining service
quality standards, driving profitability, managing a large technical team, and coordinating closely with OEMs (Maruti Suzuki) to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead, manage, and supervise the overall service department operations.
● Ensure timely and efficient service delivery to achieve customer satisfaction.
● Plan and implement strategies to improve workshop productivity and profitability.
● Monitor warranty claims, goodwill, and service-related documentation as per OEM standards.
● Manage and train service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
● Ensure compliance with company and OEM (Maruti Suzuki) policies, procedures, and quality standards.
● Analyze service performance metrics and take corrective actions to improve KPIs.
● Maintain strong coordination with spare parts, body shop, and sales departments.
● Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution.
● Prepare regular reports and budgets for management review.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
● 10–15 years of experience in automobile service operations (Maruti Suzuki experience preferred).
● Strong technical knowledge of vehicles, diagnostics, and service processes.
● Excellent leadership, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
● Proficiency in MS Office and DMS (Dealer Management Systems).
Preferred Candidate Profile:
● Candidates from Maruti Suzuki dealership background will be given preference.
● Proven track record in managing large service teams and achieving performance
targets.
● Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
