Job Description

The Amazon Procurement Executive will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers for cosmetic and beauty products. The role involves managing procurement, negotiating prices, ensuring quality compliance, and coordinating with internal teams to maintain smooth inventory flow for online marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities


1. Vendor Sourcing & Development
  • Identify and source new suppliers/manufacturers for cosmetics, personal care products.
  • Evaluate vendor capability, pricing, MOQs, lead times, certifications ( FDA, GMP, ISO, etc. ).
  • Develop long-term relationships with reliable suppliers across India.
  • Onboard new vendors and maintain supplier database.
2. Procurement & Negotiation
  • Manage end-to-end procurement for cosmetics, personal care products SKUs.
  • Negotiate cost, credit terms, payment cycles, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure order confirmations.
  • Monitor raw material/finished goods availability for timely replenishment.
3. Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Ensure product quality meets company standards and marketplace guidelines.
  • Verify legal requirements such as ingredient list, MSDS, FSSAI (when applicable), labelling norms, etc.
4. Inventory & Order Management
  • Track stock levels, reorder points, and fast/slow-moving SKUs.
  • Ensure timely procurement to support sales demand on Amazon and our D2C website.
5. Cost Optimization & Reporting
  • Maintain purchase records, vendor performance reports, and procurement dashboards.
  • Forecast procurement needs based on sales demand and upcoming campaigns.
6. Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate with Operations, Finance, and Amazon team members.
Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of cosmetics/beauty category sourcing or online orders.
  • Good understanding of E-commerce procurement, marketplace requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Good communication skills.

Qualifications
  • Any Graduate
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement/sourcing, preferably in cosmetics or personal care.
  • Candidate must have 2 wheeler with valid DL.
