• Revenue maximization – generating leads and identifying new market achieving quarterly and annual sales target. Submitting annual business plan, giving inputs on forecast and strategy building to meet targets. Ensuring higher ROI by minimizing customer acquisition cost.
• Conducting research in identifying business opportunities, reviewing and interpreting market conditions to facilitate product performance to drive business growth. Suggesting new molecule for NPD.
• Costing and commission – conducting in depth market research to study demand need, price and accordingly negotiating sale and purchase rate with the buyer and vendor respectively to maximize revenue by generating high margin on commission.
• Maintaining business relationship with industry influencers, key strategic partners and decision makers in the domestic and international pharmaceutical companies to develop new business and grow the existing business.
• Co-ordinating actively and regularly with cross functional teams: regulatory, FnD, manufacturing and supplychain to ensure product delivery.
• Designing the annual budget for the department and finalizing the same with higher management while maintaining it in line with the company goals.
• New/alternate vendor development - Finalizing deals with potential companies for in-licensing, co-development, contract research and contract manufacturing business models.
• Understanding country guidelines and accordingly checking with regulatory team for availability of data and dossiers. Finalizing products and territories to be targeted for registration.
• Submitting periodic reports to MD and suggesting the development of on-going projects and status of competitor products in the market.
• Negotiating and executing commercial agreements with the customer/vendor on clauses pertaining to commercial, legal and quality.
• Ensuring timely receipt of payment from the customers.
