We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Pre-Award Engineer to support the preparation and coordination of technical and commercial documentation for project bids. The role involves gathering inputs from various departments, consolidating bid documents, and ensuring all client requirements are met within the submission timelines. This position plays a critical role in enabling the organization to submit competitive and compliant proposals.

Key Responsibilities:


 1. Pre-Bid Document Preparation
Collect and compile technical and commercial inputs required for bid submissions.

Prepare project-related documents such as project schedules, organizational charts, escalation matrices, manpower histograms, and preliminary budgets.

Consolidate and format technical specifications, drawings, and submission schedules in line with client requirements.

Support in preparing client-facing pre-bid technical presentations.

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely sharing of all pre-bid information with the Business Development team.

 2. Internal Coordination
Coordinate with internal departments including Estimation, Design, Project Controls, Procurement, and Contracts to gather necessary bid inputs.

Ensure inputs are aligned with bid strategy and submission deadlines.

Follow up with departments to avoid delays and communicate gaps in information to the appropriate stakeholders.

 3. Documentation & Formatting
Format pre-bid documents in accordance with client-specific templates and guidelines.

Maintain strict version control and documentation standards for all bid-related content.

Track revisions and updates across all bid documents to ensure accuracy and alignment with the latest project data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

2–5 years of experience in a pre-bid, pre-award, or tendering support role in infrastructure, real estate, or EPC industry.

Familiarity with pre-bid document types such as schedules, cost breakdowns, manpower plans, and compliance matrices.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Project, and document formatting tools.

Strong communication, coordination, and document management skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple submissions simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

Working knowledge of project estimation workflows and bid preparation cycles.

Basic understanding of technical drawings, BOQs, and contractual documentation.

Exposure to government and private sector tendering procedures.
