Job Description

Quality Controller to ensure superior workmanship, compliance with specifications, and consistent execution standards across commercial interior fit-out projects. The role focuses on site inspections, quality documentation, snag management, and coordination with project teams to achieve high-quality delivery within timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and surprise quality inspections at commercial project sites
  • Verify execution as per approved drawings, BOQs, and material specifications
  • Monitor workmanship standards for carpentry, finishes, electrical, plumbing, civil, and joinery works
  • Prepare and manage snag lists, checklists, inspection reports, and NCRs
  • Ensure timely closure of quality observations with site engineers and contractors
  • Verify mock-ups, sample approvals, and finishing quality on site
  • Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and site quality protocols
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Operations teams for corrective actions
  • Support handover by ensuring completion of all quality documentation

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of commercial interior execution methods and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret working drawings and specifications
  • Experience in site quality checks and snag management
  • Strong observation, reporting, and coordination skills
  • High attention to detail and quality consciousness

Experience & Qualification

  • Experience:5–7 years in quality control for commercial interior or construction projects
  • Qualification:Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field preferred
