Job Description

 

  • Project Management:

    • Lead design projects from initial concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
    • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Design Development:

    • Develop design concepts that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing, aligning with client requirements.
    • Create detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications using design software.

  • Client Collaboration:

    • Engage with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
    • Present design proposals and adjust based on client feedback.

  • Material and Product Selection:

    • Research and select materials, furnishings, and products that meet design specifications and budgetary constraints.
    • Stay updated on industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.

  • Compliance and Standards:

    • Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
    • Prepare and review construction documents and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an interior designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with sustainable and eco-friendly design practices.
  • Familiarity with 3D rendering software.
  • Certification from a recognized interior design association.
