ROLE :- Senior Manager – Construction specializing in Fire & ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems within the MEP industry. The ideal candidate will lead and oversee construction projects, ensuring timely execution, quality control, and adherence to safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to drive excellence in Fire Protection and ELV systems for various projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :-
- Lead and manage Fire Protection and ELV construction activities for MEP projects.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure ontime and within-cost delivery.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of Fire Protection and ELV systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to achieve project objectives.
- Conduct site inspections, quality control assessments, and risk management reviews.
- Provide technical guidance and support to site teams to resolve construction challenges.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations for senior management.
- Lead training and development programs for site engineers and technicians.
- Work closely with senior management to align construction strategies with business goals.
QUALIFICATION :-
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in MEP construction, with expertise in Fire
- Protection and ELV systems.
- Strong knowledge of Fire Protection and ELV design, installation, and commissioning.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale MEP projects.
- Experience in handling subcontractors, vendors, and client interactions.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
PREFERRED SKILLS :-
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations and international codes.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) and other digital construction technologies.
